{"id":951,"date":"2025-11-20T15:17:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T12:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gestaltconferences.gr\/gestalt2026\/?page_id=951"},"modified":"2026-01-12T13:34:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T10:34:31","slug":"submissions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gestaltconferences.gr\/gestalt2026\/index.php\/submissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Submissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT \u2013 CALL FOR PROPOSALS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The <strong>Hellenic Association for Gestalt Therapy<\/strong> announces the organization of the <strong>1st International Conference for Gestalt Therapy<\/strong> in Greece, on the topic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Gender and Sexuality Today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Gestalt Psychotherapy in Interdisciplinary Dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The <strong>1st International Conference for Gestalt Therapy<\/strong> in Greece will be held on <strong>13, 14 and 15 March 2026<\/strong>, at the <strong>Aristotle University of Thessaloniki<\/strong> and will be hybrid, with <strong>live webcasting<\/strong> of theoretical presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The official languages of the conference are <strong>Greek &amp; English<\/strong> and <strong>simultaneous interpretation<\/strong> (Greek-English-Greek) will be available throughout the proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The main venue for the speeches has been designated <strong>Amphitheater I<\/strong> of <strong>KEDEA<\/strong>, but <strong>Amphitheaters II &amp; III<\/strong> will also be used for the holding of parallel presentations, as well as the <strong>Foyer (multi-venue)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The organization is held under the auspices of the <strong>Aristotle University of Thessaloniki<\/strong>, specifically its <strong>Departments of Psychology<\/strong>, <strong>Biology<\/strong>, and <strong>Medical Physics<\/strong>, as well as the <strong>European Association for Gestalt Therapy (E.A.G.T.)<\/strong>,&nbsp; the <strong>National Organisation for Psychotherapy of Greece (N.O.P.G.)<\/strong> and the <strong>International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy&nbsp;(I.A.A.G.T.)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The HAGT invites individuals interested in presenting <strong>talks, experiential workshops, posters, or panels, either in-person or online<\/strong>, to submit their proposals in both English and Greek by <strong>December 10, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">If you experience difficulty preparing your proposal in Greek, the Organizing Committee can assist you upon request \u2014 please select the relevant option for \u201ctranslation assistance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Submissions must be made exclusively via the official platform:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gestalt2026.eabstractsubmission.com\/home.seam\">https:\/\/gestalt2026.eabstractsubmission.com\/home.seam<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">All proposals, once evaluated and approved by the Scientific Committee, will be included in the final conference program only if the presenter has completed <strong>registration at<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gestaltconferences.gr\/gestalt2026\/index.php\/el\/attendees\/\">https:\/\/gestaltconferences.gr\/gestalt2026\/index.php\/el\/attendees\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The proposals that will be submitted, in order to be considered complete and forwarded to the Scientific Committee of the International Conference, must be sent electronically by the above deadline and <strong>include ALL the following information<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Title<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Complete title (with an optional brief explanation) of your proposal speech, presentation or experiential workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">IMPORTANT: This text must be submitted in Greek and English. Please note that if there is difficulty in translating your text into Greek, the translation will be carried out under the responsibility of the Conference organizing committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Presentation format<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">a. <strong>Theoretical presentation \u2013 Speech<\/strong>: Each speech will be part of a thematic \u201cUnit\u201d. The duration of each speech is strictly limited to 30\u2019, and our recommendation is to use 20\u2032 for the presentation and the rest 10\u2032 for discussion with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">b. <strong>Round table \u2013 panel<\/strong>: The panel provides the opportunity for presentations of different and\/or complementary perspectives on the approach to a selected topic. The duration is strictly limited to 90\u2019 for both the presentations and discussion with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">c. <strong>Experiential workshop \u2013 in-person or online workshop<\/strong>: The duration of the experiential workshop \u2013 seminar is strictly limited to 90\u2019. For implementation, there may be a minimum and\/or maximum number of participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">d. <strong>Posted Announcement \u2013 Poster<\/strong>: Posters will be presented on monitors in a specially designed space, according to the program. They will be submitted electronically and should be in PDF format, in dimensions 140cm width x 70cm height, in landscape orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Abstract up to 100 words<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Present a brief but complete description of the topic you will develop, highlighting the focal points of the process you will follow and the goal you have set for the audience, as well as the connection you make with the theme of the Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">IMPORTANT: This text must be submitted in Greek and English. Please note that if there is difficulty in translating your text into Greek, the translation will be carried out under the responsibility of the Conference organizing committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">ATTENTION: This text will be included in the program of the Conference and will be published wherever necessary (in print or electronically) for the promotion and communication of the International Conference. The same applies to the information included in your short CV. Therefore, <em><strong>by submitting your application, you<br>simultaneously grant the right to use the information and texts included therein to the<br>Hellenic Society of Gestalt Psychotherapy, without any reservation.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Technical and logistical requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Please describe in detail if you need any logistical infrastructure for the implementation of the speech, presentation or experiential workshop you propose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Curriculum vitae<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">A detailed curriculum vitae, including your studies, training and professional experience. This information will not be published or shared with third parties, but will remain in our association&#8217;s archives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Short curriculum vitae:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Create a very short curriculum vitae with the basic information you want to be included in the accompanying program of your speech &#8211; presentation or experiential workshop. This information will be published on the website and printed promotional material of the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">IMPORTANT: This text must be submitted in Greek and English. Please note that if there is difficulty in translating your text into Greek, the translation will be carried out under the responsibility of the Conference organizing committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; <strong>Photo<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">A high-resolution black-and-white photo to accompany your short curriculum vitae. This item will be posted on the official conference website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>All proposals submitted by the deadline will be forwarded anonymously to the Scientific Committee<\/strong> for review.
